Solvang City Tour
Welcome to the City of Solvang, "The Danish Capital of America". Stroll down Copenhagen Drive tasting Aebleskivers and other Danish pastries, or sampling wine in the shade of windmills. Solvang is a sun-soaked slice of Danish culture, where California wine cellars mix with European bakeries and shops. It’s where you can drink, dine and shop like a Dane without ever leaving the California sunshine.

The information was fun, and we enjoyed some things we would not have found on our own. But, navigating the map feature was difficulty, because we jumped out of order to see things that caught our eye. The map would freeze, and we couldn’t figure out a way to go back to something we missed. A simple ‘search’ feature or ‘reset’ would have been helpful.
The tour missed the mermaid fountain and the town square. There are also a lot of specialist shops that would be cool to stop by too
App was cool but it was just a list of places to go. There’s only a short paragraph about each stop and telling you to go in. The only stop that had any history or info was the first stop. This was a waste of $20.
The tour was very difficult to navigate if you wanted to skip around. We kept having to stop and start over. It also kept switching from a walking to a driving tour. I would not recommend this unless you like frustration.
It was nice and informative

We’ve done walking tours in several cities. This one is not as good as others. It feels like a marketing tour for businesses in Solvang. The best stop is the Mission and the history covered is interesting. The other stops simply previewed what was inside and did not include any history or storytelling of any kind.
